Responsibilities Provides assistance to person(s) served in order to promote their physical, social, and psychological wellbeingEnsures compliance within Programmatic Intellectual and Developmental Disability Waiver and Individual Program PlanCompletes documentation, completion and submissions as outlined by company policyFollows agency and participants Individual Support PlanCompletes training requirements and background checks as requiredInteracts frequently and positively with person(s) served and support staff to promote the rights of the person(s) served to achieve an enhanced quality of lifeFollows agency policy and procedures to promote optimum health care and behavioral supports to maintain the wellbeing of person(s) servedFollows agency policy and procedures to promote optimum safety practices to provide a safe environmentCompletes all documentation as required to ensure quality servicesOther duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GEDExceptions to educational requirements must comply with state law and regulationsMinimum age requirement is 18 yearsValid driver's license, with a satisfactory driving record, as defined by company vehicle policyMust meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by company and/or State regulations About our Line of Business ResCare Community Living has four decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability.
